Event description: 

The Blue Center for Global Strategic Assessment—part of the Jackson School of Global Affairs—will host a visit by Prime Minister Albin Kurti of Kosovo, who will deliver the keynote speech, “Kosova 25 Years After Liberation: Democratic Progress and a Growing Economy — and the Rising Threat of Russia and Serbia.”

Kurti will reflect on Kosovo’s journey to becoming a full-fledged democracy since 1999, highlighting the economic and democratic progress that has been made. He will also offer his thoughts on Russia’s recent efforts to provoke armed conflict on the European continent and between neighboring countries in the region.

The remarks will be followed by a moderated audience Q&A session.

The event is open to the general public. In-person registration is full, but the talk will be livestreamed.
