The Brady-Johnson Program in Grand Strategy will host a conversation with Ambassador Victoria Nuland to discuss the future of U.S. leadership around the world. Ambassador Nuland recently retired from a 35-year career in government where she focused on a range of issues in regions as diverse as Ukraine, the Indo-Pacific, and the Sahel. She most recently served as Acting Deputy Secretary of State and Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs under President Joe Biden. Ambassador Nuland will discuss the future of the war in Ukraine, U.S. competition with China, and the stability of NATO and transatlantic alliances.

Michael Brenes, co-Director of the Grand Strategy Program and a lecturer in history, will moderate the conversation.
